The London Aquarium

The London Aquarium is an astonishing £13.25 entry fee. But if you travel into London by rail and show them your train ticket you can get 2 for 1 entry. You also need a voucher, you can print this off the daysoutguide website, which enables 2FOR1 to most London attractions. Most of the tourist in the queue didn’t know this. The Aquarium is right by the London Eye so queues can be bad. We arrive at opening time, 10:00am, its already very busy.

This is London's old City Hall. When Red Ken moved out he turned the building it into an aquarium. This is excellent government policy, I think all empty building should be aquariums, or very large flower beds.

Thames just loves fish. His whole world is Thomas, Tractor and Nemo. He will stand with his face pressed against the glass for hours.

Its a great aquarium, its got sharks, big tiger sharks, rays, octopus, coral fish, lion fish, schools of massive tuna, 2 major tanks, touch ponds, which are brilliant, infact the touch ponds set this place apart. I have been to bigger (and better) aquariums, very recently in LA and NZ. But the touch ponds here are amazing, you can actually touch manta rays as they glide around. They really enjoy it, sticking there noses out of the water and splashing their wings.

Finally, in the very last tank...we find 2 special little fish

Nemo and Dory
