we love LA

our first stop on the way to New Zealand is Los Angles, California. We are staying in Santa Monica and every ones happy to get off that plane.

Its still winter here in LA, but is nice and warm, we head for the beach

I'm well known on Southern California beaches

water temperature is agreeable

We rent some bikes for a few dollars and cycle to Venice Beach

have kids will travel, wheres the freeway man?

We find a cafe on the beachfront and order pancakes, real America pancakes, with coffee and beer, its 8AM.
